Green turquoise and copper combine in this gorgeous earthy Boho necklace and matching earrings set!
I bought the turquoise from the guys who mined it in Nevada and cut the beads! I rarely get to meet the stone cutters — and I don’t know any other miners — which makes this beautiful turquoise all the more special. Greenish turquoise with brown veining teardrops are about 12x20mm.
I added copper filigree caps over the turquoise tabs and wire-wrapped the top with a 4mm black obsidian bead.
For the necklace, I strung the seven turquoise units from a strand of brown pen shell hishi.
Two copper-plated chains drape across the front. A smaller Chinese turquoise nugget connects the front part of the necklace to the chain in back. Curly copper hook-and-eye closure.
Across the top center chain, this rustic Bohemian necklace is 19-1/2″ (50cm). Measured from the bottom strand, it’s 21″ (53cm). If you need a different length, just tell me.
From the top of the copper ear wires, the matching earrings are 1-7/8″ (49mm) long. They can be changed to copper clip-ons for non-pierced ears.
You can also purchase the necklace separately without the earrings.
